THE MASSAGE
What is Thai Yoga Massage?
Traditional Thai Yoga Massage is an ancient healing art, of which knowledge and tradition has been passed down from master to student from pre-Christian times to the present day.
Thai Yoga Massage works with the energy system of the ten Sen lines. The practitioner uses the roots of the palms, elbows, knees and soles of the feet to apply pressure at the appropriate points on the Sen lines. This pressing technique, combined with gentle stretching and movements, activates the body's self-healing mechanisms, energizes and restores the body to its original state of balance.
Traditionally, Thai Yoga Massage is performed by the masseur in a meditative state of mind, in a state of physical manifestation of Metta. Metta in Theravada Buddhism is love without attachment. Its meaning is benevolence, friendliness, goodwill, kindness, proximity, and concern for the interests of others.

How to prepare for the massage?
Bring comfortable clothes (not plastic, because they're slippery) or a sweatshirt and a change of socks. If possible, avoid eating 2 hours before treatment, or eat very little. This is not a massage where you get as much as you can fit into an hour. Here you get the most complete treatment possible, specifically tailored to your body and soul.
